To screen record on an iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Control Center:
On iPhone models with Face ID, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen. On iPhone models with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
2. Locate the Screen Recording button:
In the Control Center, you should see various icons. Look for the one that resembles a circle within a circle.
3. Customize settings (optional):
You can press and hold the Screen Recording button to access additional options. This includes toggling the microphone on or off, selecting the recording destination (such as saving to Photos or Files), or adjusting the recording settings.
4. Start recording:
Tap the Screen Recording button once to start recording. A three-second countdown will appear, indicating that the recording is about to begin.
5. Record your screen:
Once the countdown finishes, your iPhone will begin recording everything displayed on the screen, including your interactions.
6. Stop recording:
To stop the screen recording, you can either tap the red status bar at the top of the screen and select “Stop,” or you can return to the Control Center and tap the Screen Recording button again. Alternatively, you can also swipe down from the top-right corner (on iPhone models with Face ID) or swipe up from the bottom (on iPhone models with a Home button) to access the Control Center and tap the Screen Recording button to stop recording.
7. Access the recording:
After stopping the recording, you will receive a notification indicating that the screen recording was saved. You can find the recording in the Photos app or the designated recording destination you selected in the settings.
Please note that screen recording is available on iPhones running iOS 11 or later. The exact appearance and location of the Screen Recording button in the Control Center may vary slightly depending on your iPhone model and iOS version.
